1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the OpenReqs platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. No Guarantees on Performance

OpenReqs provides sourcing tools, job posting features, and candidate data as-is. We make no guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding:

  • Job posting performance, reach, or applicant volume
  • Sourcing result quality, accuracy, or quantity
  • Candidate responsiveness or hire rates
  • Any specific outcomes from use of the Platform

3. User Responsibility & Liability

You are solely responsible for your use of candidate information obtained through the Platform. Specifically:

  • Any misuse, mishandling, or unauthorized disclosure of candidate data is the responsibility of the individual user and, where applicable, their subscribing company.
  • Violations of any local, state, or federal labor laws, including but not limited to discrimination, fair hiring practices, wage laws, and privacy regulations, are the sole liability of the user and subscribing company.
  • OpenReqs assumes no liability for user actions, decisions, or outcomes resulting from Platform use.

4. Prohibited Use & Termination

Any illegal activity, misuse of the Platform, or violation of these Terms may result in immediate termination of your account and access without refund. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Misusing or selling candidate information
  • Violating applicable employment or data privacy laws
  • Attempting to bypass Platform limitations or security measures

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • No Refunds. All payments are final. We do not issue refunds under any circumstances, including partial months, unused credits, or early termination.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will stop the next billing cycle — your access continues through the end of the current paid period. No prorated refunds are provided for the remaining portion of the current period.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
