Class A CDL Local Intermodal Driver

Job Summary

We are currently seeking professional Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated local intermodal account. This position offers the stability of consistent year-round freight and the convenience of daily home time. Drivers will operate modern, automatic day cabs while transporting rail containers between the terminal and customer locations throughout Southern California. This is an ideal role for drivers who value a predictable, no-touch freight operation supported by a professional and experienced logistics team.

Responsibilities

Transport rail containers from the terminal to customer facilities and return them to the rail terminal.

Manage a mix of drop-and-hook and live load/unload freight operations.

Maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism while operating in an intermodal environment.

Ensure timely delivery and pickup of freight across Southern California, with occasional longer routes as necessitated by freight demand.

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain the cleanliness of assigned company equipment.

Operate automatic day cab tractors in a slip-seat configuration.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).

Minimum of 3 months verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.

Proven record of safe driving performance.

Professional and dependable work ethic.

Ability to navigate intermodal terminal operations efficiently.

Must have reliable personal transportation to and from the terminal.

Non-smoking policy is strictly enforced inside all company equipment.
