Class A CDL Local Intermodal Driver

Job Summary

We are currently seeking professional Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated local intermodal account. This position offers consistent, year-round freight and daily home time. Drivers will operate within a 250-mile radius of the terminal, handling rail containers with a mix of drop-and-hook and live load/unload operations. Responsibilities

Transport rail containers between local customer locations and the terminal.

Execute efficient pick-ups and deliveries of both empty and loaded containers.

Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

Operate automatic day cab tractors in a slip seat environment.

Ensure timely and professional interaction with rail facilities and customer sites.

Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the operations team.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.

Ability to obtain a Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire.

Commitment to a strong safety record and professional, dependable work ethic.

Ability to operate efficiently in an intermodal environment.

No smoking permitted in company equipment.
