Job Summary
Our client is a Series B-stage physical AI company revolutionizing visual inspection for factory production lines. With over 1,000 mission-critical systems deployed across 190+ manufacturers and $15B in products inspected annually, they are at the forefront of industrial innovation. The team, composed of talent from Stanford, MIT, and Google, is currently expanding into assembly robotics and deformable manipulation.
We are seeking a high-performing Technical Recruiter to join the team in an execution-focused individual contributor role. You will report directly to the Head of People, managing full-cycle recruitment for complex engineering roles in robotics, ML, embodied AI, perception, and simulation. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical requisitions: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and closing.
- Develop and execute custom outbound strategies to engage passive candidates for niche roles in robotics, ML, and perception engineering.
- Partner with engineering hiring managers to calibrate interview rubrics, facilitate effective debriefs, and maintain a high hiring bar.
- Maintain data integrity and candidate experience within Ashby ATS, ensuring structured scorecards and efficient pipeline management.
- Collaborate with the Head of People and Finance to construct and negotiate competitive offers.
- Support Go-To-Market (GTM) hiring efforts, including Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions roles as the business scales.
- Operate as a hands-on executor, taking direction from the Head of People while driving results in an early-stage startup environment.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience within a startup or high-growth tech environment.
- Demonstrated success in closing engineering hires.
- Proficiency with Ashby or comparable ATS platforms and structured interview methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain candidate tradeoffs and market insights to hiring managers.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and maintain consistent tenure in previous roles.
- Nice-to-haves: Prior experience in robotics, hardware, or deep-tech recruiting; technical fluency; and experience scaling a company past 100 employees.
