We are hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated, full-time local yard position based out of Sayre, PA. This role offers steady weekday hours, daily home time, and a consistent work environment with minimal driving distance.
This position is ideal for drivers looking for a stable, low-mileage role with predictable scheduling.
Position Highlights:
- Average annual earnings of $57,000+
- Hourly pay of $20.50/hour
- Full-time position with consistent hours
- Home daily
- Monday through Friday schedule
Route Information:
- Operating within a 50-mile radius of Sayre, PA
- Primarily shuttling freight between nearby plants (approx. 7-mile radius)
- Routes include Sayre, PA and Waverly, NY
- Hauling marble, granite, and Corian countertops and vanities
- Yard and short-haul shuttle work
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- One mandatory weekend day per month (outsourced work)
- Off on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day
Compensation:
- $20.50/hour
- Consistent weekly hours with reliable pay
Driver Responsibilities:
- Shuttle trailers between plant locations
- Inspect trailers before and after use
- Sweep out trailers and ensure cleanliness
- Report any damage or issues to management
- Maintain safe and efficient yard operations
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of 3 months driving experience
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to perform yard and short-haul operations
- Reliable and consistent attendance
Equipment:
- Automatic day cab trucks
- 48’ and 53’ box trailers
- Yard/shuttle operation
