Class A CDL Driver - Regional Intermodal

We are hiring Class A CDL Drivers for a regional intermodal position operating throughout WI, IA, MN, and IL. This role offers strong annual earnings, consistent freight, and predictable scheduling with flexible start times between 4:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Drivers run 100% no‑touch freight on intermodal chassis, with 95% of loads starting or ending in Chicago rail yards. Expect to be out 5 days at a time with the ability to run additional days when freight is available.

Drivers earn competitive CPM pay with annual increases, plus stop pay for drop/hook and live load/unload. New drivers typically average $1,450 per week during the first 2–3 months. PTO begins immediately, holiday pay begins after one year, and uniforms are required. Assigned sleeper trucks may be parked at home if the driver lives more than 30 miles from a terminal and has a safe/legal parking location.

Position Highlights:

• Annual earnings: $80,000–$103,000
• $0.59–$0.64 CPM (annual increases)
• ~1,900 miles/week
• $5,000 sign‑on bonus
• 100% no‑touch intermodal freight

Extra Pay:

• $35 drop/hook (75%)
• $65 live load/unload (25%)
• Safety & service bonus: up to $1,000/year

Schedule:

• Various schedules available
• Out 5 days; optional extra days
• 48 hours off for high‑production drivers

Requirements:

• Class A CDL
• 3+ months experience
• Uniforms required
• Must meet 1,900 MPW production

Equipment:

• Automatic Freightliner sleepers
• Intermodal chassis
• Home parking allowed if >30 miles from terminal

PTO & Holidays:

• PTO begins day one
• 6 paid holidays after one year
• Holiday pay: $210/day
