We are hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated, full-time regional opportunity based out of Jacksonville, FL. This position offers strong weekly earnings, consistent freight, and steady regional routes in a high-demand account.
This role is ideal for drivers who are comfortable with physical work and want strong earning potential in a consistent, year-round operation.
Position Highlights:
- Average annual earnings of $94,000+
- Mileage pay of $0.55 CPM
- Average of approximately 1,900 miles per week
- Full-time position with consistent regional routes
- Reliable freight and strong activity-based pay
Route Information:
- Operating throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia
- Delivering tires to warehouses and retail locations
- Loads originate from Jacksonville, FL
- Average of 12 stops per week
- Backhauls and returns required
- Mix of drop and hook and live unload deliveries
Schedule:
- Sunday through Friday or Monday through Saturday
- Weekend work typically involves dispatch or return
- Start times vary based on delivery schedules
- Day and night shifts available based on route
- Drivers must be flexible with scheduling
Compensation:
- Mileage-based pay at $0.55 CPM
- $50 per stop
- $15 drop and hook pay
- Consistent miles and activity for strong weekly earnings
Driver Responsibilities:
- Unload and handle tires at delivery locations
- Roll and move tires off the trailer safely
- Tires range from 30 to 300 lbs
- Larger tires rolled or handled with equipment
- Count and verify inventory at each stop
- Complete returns and backhaul loads
- Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of 12 months driving experience
- Ability to handle physically demanding freight
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and customer service skills
- Willingness to assist other operations when needed
Additional Information:
- Trucks remain at Jacksonville yard during time off
- Drivers must provide transportation to and from the account
- Uniforms and safety equipment provided
- High-demand season (August through October) may require limited time off
